Mr. Keith has more than 20 years of experience in the life sciences industry and management consulting, ranging from specialty pharmaceutical to multinational pharmaceutical companies. Like many of the senior management of Verus, Mr. Keith was a member of the senior management team at Dura Pharmaceuticals, where he served as a vice president and corporate officer. Mr. Keith wore many hats at Dura: he was a key member of the team that built and grew three different commercial businesses, including the launch of numerous brands; he provided commercialization guidance for the Spiros® asthma franchise pipeline; and he helped negotiate an innovative, multi-year alliance agreement with Allergan to commercialize select brands and pipeline candidates.

Prior to joining Verus, Mr. Keith was a Partner at Advantage Management Solutions, LLC, a commercial strategy and operations consulting firm for life sciences companies. He also served as an executive for Elan Corporation, where he worked on post-merger commercial strategy and organizational integration activities; and as an executive for Abbott Laboratories, where he worked in the Pharmaceutical Products Division and the Corporate Planning & Development Group.

Mr. Keith earned his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, his M.C.P. from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.A. from The George Washington University.

Mr. Keith serves on the board of directors of Verus and CardioDynamics International Corporation (NASDAQ: CDIC).
