Mr. Vincent has more than 18 years of experience in financial management and auditing in the life sciences and technology industries, ranging from early stage start-ups to multinational companies. Prior to joining Verus, Mr. Vincent served as vice president and chief financial officer for Women First HealthCare, a publicly traded specialty pharmaceutical company. Mr. Vincent also served as senior director of finance for Elan Corporation, where he was responsible for integrating Elan’s domestic commercial operations and participated in various acquisition/divestiture transactions.

Prior to joining Elan, Mr. Vincent held senior finance positions for several technology companies. Mr. Vincent was a key member of Phase Metrics’ management team that acquired and integrated eight separate companies with twenty-nine different products. He also was responsible for forming and setting up several international operations to support worldwide launches of various products. Mr. Vincent began his career in auditing at Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he specialized in emerging growth companies and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission registrants.

Mr. Vincent earned his B.S. from San Diego State University and became a Certified Public Accountant in California in 1989.
